This Thai sweet chili dipping sauce is much more than just a dipping sauce.
I don’t know about you, but I love a dipping sauce with egg rolls or pot stickers. When eating at home, this Thai sweet chili dipping sauce is my go-to answer.
What I like about making my own is the ability to adjust the heat. Typically, I have a hot version as well as a more mild version in the fridge. It’s easy to adjust the heat factor by adjusting the amount of chili peppers.
But, the secret to this Thai sweet chili dipping sauce doesn’t end at egg rolls or pot stickers. I use it as a dip for just about anything, chicken tenders or wings for instance. Additionally, it makes a great marinade or basting sauce for grilled meats. Try it on grilled salmon!

Caution: The National Center for Home Food Preservation warns, “Wear plastic or rubber gloves and do not touch your face while handling or cutting hot peppers. If you do not wear gloves, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before touching your face or eyes.” I’d like to add, don’t touch any other “tender” body parts, either!
