This Memphis meat rub is truly a treat for your meat.

- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Kosher or sea salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more per taste
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended. Use a fork if the brown sugar needs to be broken up,
- Store rub in an airtight container away from light and moisture. Rub should keep for 2-3 months.
