Combine marinade ingredients in a non reactive bowl and mix well. Place wings in a zip lock storage bag and add marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.
In a sauce pan, add remaining ingredients and whisk well. Simmer over a medium heat for 10 minutes while stirring often.
Place rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 375-degrees F.
Remove wings from marinade and place on a well greased baking sheet. Lay wings out in rows without them touching one another.
Place wings in oven and set a timer for 15 minutes.
When the timer goes off, reduce heat to 350-degrees F and remove wings.
Brush both sides of the wings with the sauce or dip them in the sauce.
Rearrange wings on the baking sheet and return to oven. Cook for 10 more minutes.
Remove the wings and flip. Brush on more sauce if desired.
Place back in the oven for 5 more minutes.
Give the wings a taste test. If not done, continue to cook at 5 minute intervals until taste test determines that they are done.
Once wings are done, place on a plate and brush with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion. Devour.
